A lifetime of rejection by members of the opposite sex tends to make a person a little skittish around them, and boy I was really skittish around women so what does that say about me, Dean Murry? The few friends I that had, had a running joke about me and my complete inability to socialize with females regardless of their attractiveness. It was so bad that several times I even hid from girls while I was growing up.
I have never really been able to explain it. They all made me so nervous. The pretty ones scare me, and the not so attractive ones worry me because I think they think I am a suitor for them.
Now don’t misunderstand me I like girls. I’m not attracted to guys no matter how many guys in gym class called me gay or queer. Oh yeah also since I have issues with girls I was a really good target for bullies even the ones whom I helped with their homework.
